HR250 Twin-Head Horizontal Resaw

Designed for intensive operation, the HR250 combines high productivity with reliability, minimizing costs and downtime - making it an excellent solution for pallet manufacturers.

The HR250 is a high-performance horizontal resaw designed for lumber production, combining versatility with precise cutting tailored to the pallet industry's needs. Thanks to its robust construction and simple operation, the HR250 is well-suited for continuous, full-shift work, ensuring uninterrupted production with minimal risk of breakdowns. It is an ideal choice for pallet producers who value high output and low maintenance costs.

Designed primarily for pallet board production, the HR250 is also suitable for manufacturing structural lumber and processing wood species characterized by high internal stresses.

Advanced Features and Technologies

The HR250 is equipped with two horizontal bandsaw blades, each driven by an independent electric motor with power ratings of up to 15 kW (available options: 5.5 kW, 7.5 kW, 11 kW, or 15 kW), providing ample cutting power while maintaining high efficiency.

The two cutting heads are mounted vertically, one above the other, allowing two boards to be produced simultaneously. This configuration helps maintain consistent board thickness by reducing the impact of material movement and stress release during cutting.

Dynamically balanced 710 mm steel band wheels ensure smooth and stable operation with minimal vibration, extending blade life and reducing wear on machine components.

The hydraulic-electric blade tensioning system ensures high cutting precision and reliable operation. The HR250 uses stationary blade guides (plates) instead of conventional guide rollers, helping reduce wear and simplify maintenance.

A mist lubrication system using compressed air and liquid continuously cleans and lubricates the blades, helping improve cutting accuracy and extend blade life.

Each head features independent up/down height adjustment via push buttons, and with the optional Setworks system, cutting thickness can be set directly on the display. The control panel can be installed on either right or left side depending on the user’s individual needs.

Design and Ergonomics

The machine is equipped with a belt conveyor that ensures smooth material flow, reducing the risk of damage and improving cutting accuracy. Single hold-down rollers at the infeed and outfeed stabilize the material. Optional double hold-down rollers allow simultaneous cutting of boards with different thicknesses. The optional powered double hold-down roller system also enables two narrow cants to be processed side by side, helping maintain high production throughput.

The maximum cant cutting height is 250 mm, the maximum width is 285 mm, and the minimum board thickness is 10 mm. The HR250 requires 32/35/38 mm wide, 433 cm long sawmill blades.

Thanks to its robust construction and simple operation, the HR250 requires minimal servicing, helping to keep operating costs low.

The simplified beltless design reduces the number of wear components, contributing to increased reliability and reduced downtime.

Additional Information

The HR250 was developed and refined with input from industrial wood-processing customers, ensuring that the machine meets the practical requirements of modern pallet and lumber production.

The HR250 is delivered on a single pallet, making it easy to transport with a forklift. Its installation at the worksite is quick, providing high flexibility when integrating the machine into various production line configurations. Thanks to transport profiles designed for forklift handling, assembly and relocation are quick and easy.
