MES401 Dust Collection System

The MES401 is a popular stationary sawdust extraction kit known for its high airflow efficiency. It is powered by an MD400 fan with a 3 kW motor. The MD400 fan is equipped with a switch that allows it to be operated independently of the machine's operation.

The second key component of the system is a cyclone, standing on four supports mounted to the floor (part #: 546927). The cyclone is equipped with two filtering bags and two disposable plastic bags for collecting wood chips and sawdust, each with a capacity of 120 liters. The cyclone features a special quick-mounting system for the bags, ensuring smooth and efficient installation and removal. To connect the MD400 fan and the cyclone, a hose with a diameter of 200 mm and a minimum length of 2 meters is required. Sawdust extraction hoses are not included in the kit but can be ordered separately according to specific needs and equipment placement. The minimum length for each hose used to connect with woodworking machinery is 3 meters.

The input adapter for the MD400 fan allows for the simultaneous connection of three hoses with a diameter of 100 mm and one hose with a diameter of 125 mm. Unused inlet openings are covered with special plugs. Hose clamps for securing the hoses and plugs for the unused inlet openings of the fan are provided as standard in the MES401 system.
