The EG350 is an essential tool for sawmillers looking to expand their business. Designed to consistently and accurately remove rough board edges, the EG350 is built on a proven and trusted mechanical design. The machine boasts increased cutting capacity, accommodating cants up to 100 mm thick and 550 mm wide, with a maximum cutting width of 420 mm between blades. This enhanced capacity allows for processing larger and thicker material, making it an indispensable addition to any sawmill.

The EG350 features an optional laser alignment system with two lasers – one fixed and one adjustable – providing accurate, consistent cuts. For operators preferring manual alignment, a metric and imperial measurements scale is conveniently located above the infeed slot.

The machine can be used either as an edger or as a multirip. In edger mode, two blades (one fixed, one movable) ensure precision trimming. Multirip mode allows up to five blades to be mounted on a special sleeve, using spacers to customize the cut width. Blades are easily interchangeable by accessing the shaft through the side cover.

The EG350’s modular infeed and outfeed roller tables simplify material handling and can be extended to accommodate longer cants. Each table module measures 1.8 meters and connects seamlessly for easy expansion.
 
The infeed mechanism features a double roller system mounted on a bracket with springs, allowing smooth feeding of material up to 65 mm thick with the lower roller and 100 mm with the upper roller. On the outfeed side, a 200 mm diameter roller mounted on a pivoted bracket with springs ensures thicker cants glide smoothly. Adjustable bumpers lift the roller to accommodate thicker material, making feeding easier and reducing the operator's effort.

The powered feed system (2-20 m/min) helps to keep the optimal speed of the material that enters the machine, depending on the wood species and cutting conditions.

The EG350 is powered by a robust electric motor, with options of 18.5 kW (25 HP) or 22 kW (30 HP). The remote control panel allows operators to position it conveniently. It features an emergency stop switch, easy-to-use buttons for manual blade adjustments, and a power feed potentiometer. The EG350 also includes the Setworks system for automated width adjustments, making operation simple and efficient.

The machine has anti-kickback fingers to protect operators from splinters or debris. These can be disengaged using levers on the side. For maintenance, the top cover opens with a telescopic handle and features an electric interlock that prevents accidental startup when the cover is open.

A sawdust collection box beneath the machine connects to dust extraction systems with three outlets, keeping the workspace clean and efficient.
