Wood-Mizer has transitioned from paper-based manuals to convenient digital formats. Now, all essential machine documentation is accessible directly on users’ smartphones via the new Wood-Mizer Mobile App.
Instead of thick paper manuals, each machine is delivered with a printed safety guide (as required by EU regulations) and a QR code on the machine that links to a quick-start leaflet explaining how to download and use the Wood-Mizer app.
The Wood-Mizer app is available for free on Google Play for Android devices and the App Store for iOS.

Getting started is easy: once you create an account in the app, you get access to machine-specific documentation, including:
• Operator’s Manual
• Spare Parts Catalog
• Electrical Schematics
• Instructions for auxiliary equipment (e.g., debarkers and engines)
“Wood-Mizer produces several thousand machines every year. With the new app, we’ve reduced paper and printing costs, lowered package weight, and significantly improved user convenience. The manuals are always at hand, they don’t get lost, and it’s much easier to find specific information,” says Daniel Krysiak, Manager of the Technical Documentation Department at Wood-Mizer Industries.
“This is especially helpful for mobile sawmillers. Carrying a heavy printed manual is no longer necessary. And by reducing paper usage, we’re taking another step toward the green economy that Wood-Mizer has supported since 1982, when the company introduced thin-kerf sawing technology.”
Digital manuals on your smartphone. Less paper, more convenience – and always in your pocket.
