An electric motor (12V DC) with a gear mechanism manufactured by Current Applications, and is a part of:
- Blade guide arm - moving it towards or away from the edge of the log,
- Debarker arm - debarker engagement,
- Sharpeners (BMS200, BMS250) - moving the cam and pushrod.
Regularly check electric brushes inside the motor. The brushes should be replaced if worn out. Lack of maintenance may lead to its decreased performance, such as:
- Dull and slow work of the commutator,
- Higher energy consumption,
- Frequent fuse disconnection.
