In the small village of Nowe Sioło, located in the southeast of Poland, Mr. Adam Marciniszyn has run a sawmill since 1998. The sawmill supplies high-quality construction timber to local customers and offers professional sawmilling services. A few years ago, the Marciniszyn Sawmill partnered with Wood-Mizer, modernizing its operations with state-of-the-art machines and equipment. Today, the sawmill operates seven machines bearing the Wood-Mizer logo, with the latest addition being the LX250 sawmill, capable of processing logs up to 140 cm in diameter.
For over two decades, the Marciniszyn sawmill has been supplying construction timber, including building boards, roofing timber, and beams, to its clients in the area. The company's long-standing presence in the market is a testament to its commitment to high-quality products and services, expert advice, and excellent customer care. The collaboration with Wood-Mizer, a renowned manufacturer of sawmills and sawmilling equipment in Europe and worldwide, has allowed the mill to integrate modern machines that improve efficiency and precision. Among the Wood-Mizer machines is the LX250 sawmill, specializing in cutting large logs with diameters of up to 140 cm, helping the sawmill stay at the forefront of the timber processing industry.

The LX250 sawmill is part of the LX series, featuring a cutting head that operates on two guide rails along the bed. The low-profile bed allows for effortless loading of large and heavy logs, while the 32-35 mm wide blades significantly reduce machine operating costs. Operating the sawmill is straightforward, and future operators can start working with the machine after a brief training. The control panel has arranged buttons and switches, and the Setworks automatic height adjustment system simplifies operation by maintaining accuracy and increasing work efficiency. It is enough to enter the desired dimension into the computer, and the cutting head will automatically be set to the correct height for the next cut. The head's forward/backward and up/down movement is electric and intuitively controlled by a joystick.
The operator has full control of the process during cutting, following the head and closely monitoring the blade as it works through the wood. Additionally, an ammeter on the electrical box shows the current engine load.

In sawmills where large-diameter logs need to be processed, the Wood-Mizer LX250 is often a preferred machine. Its ability to handle logs up to 1.4 meters in diameter enables the production of unique products such as large table tops, wide boards, and massive slabs, which can be further processed to showcase original patterns and grain. The LX250 integrates well with Woodworking planers/moulders or the MB200 SlabMizer for finishing large surfaces.
