This model comes standard with a complete hydraulic package that ensures easy and fast log handling and an automatic height adjustment device to maximize operator efficiency.

Since its debut in 2003, the LT20 model has been recognized as a reliable machine, appreciated by small and medium enterprises and individual users. Today, the new START model fully leverages the LT20's rich experience and proven solutions. With the launch of this sawmill, Wood-Mizer introduces new names in the LT20 series - LT20START and LT20SUPER. The START model meets market needs, offering a tested configuration in a popular and practical version. At the same time, the SUPER variant allows for more advanced customization of the sawmill tailored to the individual needs of users.

Specifications Meet Challenges

The LT20START model enables precise sawmilling of logs with a maximum diameter of 80 cm and a length of 6.1 m. The hydraulic package of the LT20START includes three side supports, a central clamp, a turner, two leveling rollers, and loading arms. The user operates hydraulic functions through intuitive levers, enabling efficient work and reducing the time needed to produce planks or beams. Optional bed extensions of 1.8 m, 3.6 m, or 7.2 m allow users to customize the machine for sawmilling longer logs, expanding the sawmill's application range and opening new business opportunities.

The LT20START sawmill has an ergonomic control panel with the SW10 Setworks device for automatic cutting height adjustment, eliminating the need for manual calculations and adjustments. An 11 kW electric motor provides sufficient power for soft and hardwood processing.

Standard equipment includes roof-shaped (angled) bedrails, effectively preventing bark from accumulating under the processed log and significantly improving sawmilling precision. This solution is supported by optional stainless steel covers, providing additional bed protection.

An electrically extended guide arm stabilizes the blade during log cutting. The blade lubrication system automatically engages when the blade starts working.

The LT20START sawmill can also be equipped with a debarker. This device makes a preliminary cut in the bark, extending the blade's life and enhancing the precision and quality of cuts.
